SLNA 'plays big', spends 30 billion to welcome 3 stars back to Vinh stadium?
(Baonghean.vn) - With a new sponsor, SLNA is showing a strong hand in reforming, as evidenced by the fact that the Nghe An team will spend 30 billion VND to bring their "lost children" back to Vinh Stadium.
After poor results in the early stages of the 2021 season and facing the risk of relegation, SLNA has made a strong change. Since June 1, Tan Long Group has officially taken over SLNA Football Club. Song Lam Nghe An Sports Joint Stock Company is also the new managing unit of SLNA Club, replacing the previous Song Lam Joint Stock Company.
With a new sponsor, SLNA shows its determination to reform and regain its inherent position. Thanks to its strong financial potential, the Nghe An team has succeeded in retaining the number 1 star Phan Van Duc. Players with uncertain futures have gradually agreed to stay, while young players have all received salary increases to play with peace of mind.
Not to mention, foreign player Michael Olaha - considered the best foreign player in the team's history will also join in the near future, SLNA will also recruit at least 1 more new player to be able to fight in the rest of the season.
But that's not all. According to sources, SLNA is even willing to spend more than 30 billion VND to welcome "lost children" back to Vinh Stadium. The names SLNA is targeting are Que Ngoc Hai, Nguyen Trong Hoang (Viettel) and Ngo Hoang Thinh (HCMC). The specific price for each of the above players has not been disclosed.

All three players above had played for SLNA and all had the desire to stay and contribute to their hometown team. However, the finances of the Nghe An team at that time were not enough to keep Ngoc Hai, Trong Hoang or Hoang Thinh. Trong Hoang even waited until the last day to hold on to the hope of staying, but still had to go to Viettel.

If these three players can return, SLNA's strength will certainly increase significantly. Fans will also have more faith and hope that their beloved team will soon regain its image and position as one of the leading football clubs in Vietnam.
In the immediate future, SLNA's goal is to stay in V.League 2021 and the whole team will do their best to achieve that goal.
