On the afternoon of April 30, Associate Professor, Dr. Duong Dinh Chinh - Deputy Head of the Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control of the province, Director of Nghe An Department of Health inspected and urged the work of epidemic prevention and control at the quarantine and treatment areas of Hoang Mai town, Quynh Luu, Yen Thanh and Dien Chau districts.

Units must strictly implement screening, triage, isolation and testing for suspected cases; require mandatory medical declarations for patients and their relatives, keep the declarations, absolutely do not allow high-risk cases to enter the hospital; strictly control people entering and exiting, minimize visits and care from relatives of patients... review and re-evaluate the set of criteria for hospitals that are safe for Covid-19 prevention and control.

For Covid-19 patients treated at medical facilities, when they are eligible for discharge, the treatment facility is required to carry out discharge procedures according to regulations. For patients who are subject to centralized isolation, have other diseases and are indicated to be transferred to medical isolation facilities with negative test results for SARS-CoV-2, when they are cured but the isolation period has not yet ended, the medical facility shall preside over and coordinate with the isolation facility to transport the patient back to the centralized isolation area to continue isolation for the required period of time according to regulations.
