Exciting We Invest competition night of students from the School of Economics - Vinh University

We Invest is an investment knowledge competition for students with the aim of finding young people with knowledge, skills and passion for investment, creating an intellectual playground for students, helping students apply knowledge to practice.

After nearly 1 month of organization, the contest has gone through 2 rounds, which are the warm-up round (in the form of an online contest via the program's provided link with content about IQ questions, general knowledge about investment economics and stock investment).

In the second round - investment training, 4 teams will be supported with 4 million VND each to open an account at a securities company and trade and demonstrate their practical investment, presentation and debate skills.

In the final round, the teams will go through 3 parts including We say hi (introduction), We get right (answering questions) and the final part is We in vest (presentation about the investment process).

This is the first time the contest has been held and received the participation of many students from the University of Economics -Vinh University.Speaking at the final night, Dr. Ho My Hanh - Vice Principal of the School of Economics congratulated the teams that were selected to participate in the final night of the We Invest competition and highly appreciated the efforts of the teams.

Dr. Ho My Hanh also said that the contest called We Invest has shown the very typical color of students of the Investment Economics major. This is an intellectual playground for students to demonstrate the skills and knowledge that they have learned at school. Thereby, it also shows the passion for the profession that students have chosen.

The Vice Principal of the School of Economics also said that in 19 years of construction and development, from the premise of the Faculty of Economics, up to now, the School of Economics - Vinh University has increasingly expanded its scale with many training levels from undergraduate, graduate, doctoral and has a scale of more than 4,500 students.

To meet the needs of society, the school has developed a CDIO-oriented training program, aiming to develop learners' capacity through integrating knowledge and skills for students during the learning process.

Another characteristic of this program is its greater focus on practical experiential activities.studentright from when they are still in school. Therefore, the School of Economics highly appreciates the participation of businesses in training activities such as vocational training activities of students.

Through this program, the school's Board of Directors hopes to further increase the connection and cooperation between businesses and schools so that students have more opportunities to gain practical experience at businesses during their studies.

As a co-organizer of the contest, Ms. Le Thi Van Trang, representative of MB Securities Company, Vinh office added: We join and sponsor this program with the desire to encourage the spirit of love and desire to learn, contribute to consolidating knowledge about expertise, career and skills training and create an academic playground for students. Regarding this contest, Ms. Le Thi Van Trang also said: Investing in stocks or securities channels is also a current trend when the middle class of Vietnam is growing rapidly and needs to find an investment channel to increase income. However, for any investment channel, if there is a lack of understanding, it will lead to risks for investors.

Therefore, from this competition and the situations set out in the competition will help students of the School of Economics visualize part of the picture of the current stock market and from there be flexible in solving problems and providing timely and effective advice to customers.

During the competition, MBS also organized training and seminars with leading experts of MBS, as well as internship courses and support teams throughout the practical investment round for students. Along with this competition, in the coming time, MB Securities Company, Vinh office will have more training programs, training cooperation with other units to equip knowledge, correct and serious approaches for students and future investors.
