The "main road project" of the new urban area Thai Hoa traffic infrastructure system is designed to be more than 1.95 km long and 52 meters wide, and construction began in October 2009.

This project is invested by Thai Hoa Town People's Committee, capital mobilized from the Central budget, Nghe An province budget and Thai Hoa town. (Previously, the route was 2.05km long, then adjusted and reduced to 1.95km due to overlapping with the road at the beginning of Hieu 2 bridge).

Recently, on this route, there have been some locations where the road surface has peeled off and the rubber has sunk (within a range of about 500 m).

The representative of the Thai Hoa town construction project management board said that the project is under construction, the construction process aims to ensure traffic connection to create favorable conditions for people, however, during the process of use, there are trucks carrying heavy materials regularly circulating on the route, some locations are also degraded.

Mr. Ho Thanh Phong, Vice Chairman of Thai Hoa Town People's Committee said: Faced with the above situation, Thai Hoa Town People's Committee has assigned the Thai Hoa Construction Project Management Board and related departments and offices to inspect the project and assign the construction unit to fix and repair it.

Specifically, the Thai Hoa Construction Project Management Board issued Official Dispatch No. 177/dated October 25 regarding "Urge contractors to repair and fix the route". According to the plan, from November 10, the contractor will gather machinery and materials to carry out repairs and fix the route. After completing the repair work, the second layer of asphalt will be laid on the remaining 600 m section.

During the repair process, the Thai Hoa Construction Project Management Board will direct the construction unit, the supervision consultant unit, and the construction and supervision organization to ensure compliance with procedures and regulations. At the same time, pay attention to speeding up the progress of the remaining items according to the capital allocated in 2021, to promptly disburse capital according to the proposed plan.

This project, once put into use, is considered the "highlight" of the modern traffic infrastructure system, serving the new urban area of ​​Thai Hoa.
