Division 324 builds '100 Dong House' for poor soldiers in Con Cuong

Comrade Vo Quang Thao is a driver of the 335th Regiment’s Staff, his family lives in Lien Tra village, Bong Khe commune, Con Cuong district. His family’s circumstances are difficult, his parents are old and weak, his wife has no stable job, his children are still young and have no home. Faced with such difficult circumstances, the 335th Regiment requested the Political Department of Military Region 4 to support Comrade Thao in building the “100 Dong House”.

Flat roof house with usable area of ​​80m2^2.The total construction cost is over 400 million VND, of which Regiment 335 proposed to the superiors to support 80 million VND, taken from the "100 VND House" fund contributed by cadres and youth union members in the entire Military Region 4; cadres and soldiers of Regiment 335 supported 600 working days. The estimated construction time is about 2 months.

This is a practical and meaningful work of the officers, soldiers and youth union members of Regiment 335 to join hands to help soldiers in difficult circumstances to build houses, stabilize their lives and work with peace of mind. This is also a meaningful activity of the youth of Regiment 335 towards celebrating the 91st anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union.

Model"The 100 Dollar House"is a unique, creative and effective idea in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style of the Army's youth. Accordingly, each cadre, union member and youth saves 100 VND per day (3,000 VND/person/month). The model aims to propagate and educate the sense of saving, the spirit of mutual love and support, "the rich help the poor" of the Army's Youth, contributing to easing the post-war pain for families with preferential policies, reducing the gap between rich and poor for families with especially difficult circumstances, people in remote areas, border areas, and islands, and further enhancing the noble qualities of "Uncle Ho's soldiers" in the new era.
