(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of October 12, at the 9th Session - Special Session, the People's Council of Nghe An province, term XVIII, term 2021 - 2026, elected two additional members of the Provincial People's Committee for the term 2021 - 2026.

Comrades: Thai Thanh Quy - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Nguyen Nam Dinh - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Nguyen Nhu Khoi - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council chaired the meeting.

Attending the meeting were comrades: Nguyen Van Thong - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Nguyen Duc Trung - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Hoang Nghia Hieu - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; comrades in the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee; delegates of the Provincial People's Council; leaders of departments, branches and localities.

Based on the Proposal of the Provincial People's Committee, the Provincial People's Council dismissed the members of the Provincial People's Committee for comrades: Hoang Quoc Hao - former Director of the Department of Justice; Nguyen Xuan Hai - former Director of the Department of Finance to retire according to the regime; at the same time, the Provincial People's Council elected additional members of the Provincial People's Committee for comrades: Hoang Thi Thu Trang - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Director of the Department of Justice; Trinh Thanh Hai - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Director of the Department of Finance, with 79/79 delegates present agreeing.

The delegates of the Provincial People's Council pressed the button to pass resolutions on confirming the results of dismissal of members of the Provincial People's Committee as well as the results of the election of additional members of the Nghe An Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term.
