Thai Hoa 'attracts' multi-sector investment with the orientation of developing into a central city in the West of Nghe An
(Baonghean.vn) - Nghe An Provincial Party Committee has recently agreed to implement the Resolution on building and developing Thai Hoa town into a central urban area of the Northwest region of Nghe An. This orientation has created many favorable conditions for Thai Hoa town to attract investment and create momentum for development. According to the orientation, Thai Hoa town will be built into a type III urban area before 2025, meeting the standards of a city under Nghe An province in the period of 2021-2026.
Focus on infrastructure investment to meet the standards of a type III urban city
As one of the two spiritual lands of Nghe An with Phu Dien, Thai Hoa town is developing strongly with vision, appropriate policies and the joint efforts of the people; creating a modern, harmonious urban area, a place of economic, cultural and social convergence of the Northwest of Nghe An.
With its central location at the western gateway of Nghe An - Thanh Hoa, Thai Hoa City affirms its role as a comprehensive center, a trading hub, and the most important gateway of the Northwest region of Nghe An.
The main traffic routes connecting the region such as: Ho Chi Minh road, National Highway 48A, 48E, 48D, 15A, Thai Hoa - Hoang Mai route... all converge in Thai Hoa. In particular, with diverse types of transportation, Thai Hoa easily connects with many large economic zones and industrial parks in the Central region according to the Government's orientation such as: Nghi Son Industrial Economic Zone (Thanh Hoa), Vung Ang Industrial Economic Zone (Ha Tinh); Hoang Mai Industrial Park, WHA - Nghi Loc Industrial Park, VSIP Industrial Park in Vinh city...
These advantages are favorable conditions to help Thai Hoa diversify its economic types, develop trade with localities and border with Laos.

Thai Hoa Town expands to attract investors for socio-economic development
At the regular meeting of the Standing Committee of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee in May 2021, Nghe An Provincial Party Committee agreed to implement the Resolution on building and developing Thai Hoa into a central urban area of the Northwest region of Nghe An.
This is a resolution orienting the development of Thai Hoa town into a central urban area, with the function of creating momentum, linking and promoting the socio-economic development of the Northwest region; thereby promoting socio-economic development, ensuring national defense and security, and constantly improving the material and spiritual life of the people. Striving to build Thai Hoa into a type III urban area before 2025, which is the central city of the West of Nghe An province in the period of 2021-2026.

The draft resolution clearly states that Thai Hoa must focus on developing industrial and service zones, developing transport infrastructure, and building model urban areas; especially attracting investment from large economic groups across the country to develop the local economy.

Along with industrial and service development, the Provincial Party Committee also pointed out that it is necessary to synchronously build a central city with model urban areas in the new period, with a vision to 2030; ensure social security as well as improve the quality of life for the people.
Currently, the locality has attracted a series of investors to build and develop model urban areas such as: Vincom Shophouse Thai Hoa Central Urban Area, TNR Stars Thai Hoa Urban Area, Thai Hoa Petroleum Urban Area... However, it is necessary to promote the development of both trade, services and urban areas to create highlights, affirming Thai Hoa as a key central city in the Northwest of not only Nghe An but also the North Central region in the period of 2021 - 2026, with a vision to 2030.
