Thai Hoa: Vocational training for women in ethnic minority areas

(Baonghean.vn) - On October 1, the Women's Union of Thai Hoa Town organized a career orientation training course for women in the religious areas according to Project 2059 on "Propaganda, mobilization and support for women in religious and coastal areas to participate in economic development and sustainable poverty reduction" in 2015.

The training course was attended by 100 women members from hamlets 5A, 5B and hamlet 4 of Tan Cac parish in Nghia Thuan commune. Officers from the town’s agricultural extension center instructed the women on how to choose breeds, feed, and how to build farms for raising pigs and cows.

Through the vocational orientation class, the Party's policies and the State's laws on vocational training and job creation for rural workers are disseminated. Women members in remote areas also exchange experiences in livestock development and raising family income.
