Thai Hoa enforces land recovery and hands over the site to the construction unit.

On September 21, Thai Hoa town completed the enforcement work, cleared the site, and handed over to the construction unit to build the branch road connecting Dong Hieu Rest Stop to Ho Chi Minh Road..

Previously, according to theDecision of the Town People's Committee, the cases subject to forced eviction include: the household of Mr. Vo Van Dieu, Ms. Nguyen Thi Tan and the household of Mr. Vo Van Van Hung, Ms. Nguyen Thi Binh (Dong My hamlet, Dong Hieu commune). However, by the morning of September 21, after being propagandized and mobilized, the family of Mr. Vo Van Dieu and Ms. Nguyen Thi Tan agreed to receive compensation and hand over the land.

Meanwhile, the family of Mr. Vo Van Hung and Ms. Nguyen Thi Binh still resolutely refused to hand over the land because the family thought the compensation price was not satisfactory. The land that Mr. Vo Van Hung and Ms. Nguyen Thi Binh are using to grow perennial crops at plot 39 of Dong Hieu Farm (area 1,333.3 m²), received total support according to the Decision is: 615,637,400 VND(In words: Six hundred fifteen million, six hundred thirty seven thousand, four hundred dong). This is land managed by Dong Hieu Farm, assigned to households to grow perennial crops. Therefore, according to the provisions of the law, households are only compensated for crops and supported for relocation, but not compensated for land when the State reclaims the land.

Regarding land acquisition, the People's Committee of Thai Hoa town has issued a Decision to enforce and dismantle constructions, architectures, and trees on the acquired land for Mr. Hung and Ms. Binh's household.

As a result, the assets of Mr. Vo Van Hung's family, including architectural works such as: temporary houses, household items and auxiliary works such as bathrooms, barns for raising livestock, pets and a yard with over 400 plants of various types, were recorded, sealed, relocated, dismantled... After 1 day of implementation, the Thai Hoa Town Land Recovery Enforcement Board cleared the site and handed it over to the construction unit.

The enforcement of land recovery demonstrates the strictness of the law. Through the enforcement session, it also propagates to households in Dong Hieu commune in particular and people in Thai Hoa town in general about the implementation of the Party's policies and the State's laws, contributing to the implementation of the town's socio-economic development tasks.
