Mr. Nguyen Truong Tam - Chairman of Thanh Linh Commune People's Committee said that as of April 3, the number of pigs destroyed was up to nearly 10 tons, within 4 days alone (from March 31 to April 3), the commune destroyed nearly 4 tons of pigs. CurrentlyAfrican swine feverhas spread to 6/6 villages and hamlets of the commune.
According to data from the Thanh Chuong District Agricultural Service Center, as of April 3, 33 communes in the district had tested positive for African swine fever. The number of pigs destroyed in Thanh Chuong was more than 170 tons of live pigs, an increase of 27 tons compared to the end of March.
