This is an annual activity of Vinh City Youth Union to promote propaganda work, raise awareness among youth union members about compliance with laws on traffic safety and regulations on fireworks, contributing to the Party Committee, government, organizations and people of the city to celebrate Tet safely.
The Standing Committee of Vinh City Youth Union has requested that Youth Union branches and branches regularly disseminate information so that young people can understand and effectively implement action programs to prevent crime, maintain traffic order and safety, prevent firecrackers and protect the environment. Organize healthy entertainment spots to attract youth union members to participate in order to minimize the number of people and vehicles violating traffic safety during Tet. Organize “Volunteer Saturday” activities to clear trees that obscure traffic safety signs and visibility on roads. At the same time, strictly handle violations.
The motto of this activity is: each member, youth union member, and youth should be an active propagandist, mobilizing the people and the whole society to participate in the fight against crime, maintain security and order, traffic safety and regulations on fireworks, burning and releasing sky lanterns to protect the environment and build a civilized urban lifestyle.

Immediately after the ceremony, more than 500 youth union members participated in a parade on several main streets in the city to promote firecracker prevention and ensure traffic safety before, during and after the Lunar New Year 2019.
