Highland youth volunteers brave the heat to roof houses to help Agent Orange victims
(Baonghean.vn) - Despite the intense heat, nearly 40 degrees Celsius, more than 40 young volunteers from Don Phuc commune (Con Cuong) still roofed and paved the floor for Mui Thi May and her children (a victim of Agent Orange). This work demonstrates the spirit of volunteerism and the morality of "When drinking water, remember its source" of the young generation.
 Responding to the 2018 Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign and towards the anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27), the Youth Union of Don Phuc Commune (Con Cuong) mobilized more than 40 members to roof and smooth the floor to help Ms. Mui Thi May (congenitally deaf and mute due to Agent Orange) in Hong Thang Village. Previously, the Union undertook the project of building a fence for the Commune People's Committee headquarters, raising a fund of 8 million VND to buy materials (cement roofing sheets, cement, sand, gravel and bamboo, meter).
