Evaluating the tournament, Mr. Nguyen Hoang Trung - Director of Nghe An Province Sports Training and Competition Center, Deputy Organizing Committee said: "This is a grassroots tournament with very rapid development. In previous years, this tournament had a small number of athletes participating. However, this year the number of delegations, as well as the number of athletes participating, is quite large (25 delegations, 250 athletes). This achievement is due to the fact that in the past time, we have launched a widespread movement to practice swimming and prevent drowning. Therefore, people and parents have also paid more attention to this issue, seeing many positive aspects of swimming.
Before the tournament, the teams had practiced seriously and systematically, so the professional quality of the tournament was raised very high. Many athletes created extremely impressive achievements. With such a thorough investment, I believe that the quality of the next tournaments will be raised even higher.
Currently, the swimming movement among the masses has been developed very well. Therefore, many children have achieved impressive results when participating in swimming competitions like this. Through this, it will help Nghe An's high-performance sports find outstanding factors to add to the province's swimming and diving team."
