On February 22, the rescue plan was deployed, which was to use 3 large excavators to scoop up sand, create drainage ditches and lift the ship. At the same time, a generator was used to provide electricity for 4 water pumps, sucking out water and sand from the ship's hull. However, this plan was not effective despite mobilizing hundreds of people to pull the ship.
By the morning of February 23, the tide rose, and people watched helplessly as the water sank the boat, forcing the fishermen to find a more feasible solution.

Mr. Pham Van Tung - the owner of the sunken ship sadly said: This afternoon, when the tide recedes, we will hire a 50-ton crane to salvage the ship at all costs, because leaving the ship submerged day and night like that is very painful... the total estimated damage is about 300 million VND.
Mr. Nguyen Van Lien - Vice Chairman of Dien Bich Commune People's Committee said: Given the current difficult situation, the commune has proposed to the District People's Committee and the Border Guard to have a plan to support the salvage of the ship, because the current local conditions cannot provide relief.

Fishermen said that previously stranded ships could be rescued in just one day. However, this ship has a large capacity and its hull is stuck to a thick layer of sand, so it cannot be salvaged using conventional methods.
It is known that at around 4:00 p.m. this afternoon, February 23, when the tide recedes, a crane will be used to rescue the ship.
