As of 6:00 p.m. on April 14, Vietnam recorded a total of 266 Covid-19 cases, of which the new case was 1 patient related to Bach Mai Hospital.

The Ministry of Health announced that Vietnam has recorded 266 cases of Covid-19. Of which, the newly discovered patient is Patient 266,Female, 36 years old, residing in Thuong Tin, Hanoi.

On March 8-10, the patient visited her mother at the Department of Rehabilitation, Bach Mai Hospital. On March 12, the patient had a sore throat. From March 30, the patient was isolated at home. On April 12, the patient's sample was taken and the test result was positive for SARS-CoV-2 on April 14.

The patient is currently isolated and treated at the Central Hospital for Tropical Diseases, branch 2.

Of the total number of Covid-19 cases in Vietnam, 160 people came from abroad, accounting for 60.2%, and 106 people were infected in the community, accounting for 39.8%.

Total number of close contacts and people entering from epidemic areas being monitored for health (quarantined): 68,968, of which:

- Concentrated isolation at hospital: 601;

- Centralized quarantine at other facilities: 13,455;

- Isolated at home or place of residence: 54,912.

According to the report of the Treatment Subcommittee of the National Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control, on April 14, there were more23 patients were announced to be cured, bringing the total number of cured cases in Vietnam to 169. CurrentlyThe remaining 97 cases are being treated at 14 hospitals./.
