Four more Covid-19 cases, one is a foreign pilot
At 8:00 p.m. on March 20, the Ministry of Health announced four more cases of Covid-19, including one foreigner who is currently a pilot for Vietnam Airlines. So far, Vietnam has recorded 91 cases of Covid-19.
CASE NUMBER 88 (BN88):Female patient, 25 years old, address at Van Quan Urban Area, Phuc La, Ha Dong, Hanoi. The patient is an international student in the UK, entered Noi Bai on March 12, 2020.
From March 12 to March 16, 2020, the patient self-isolated at home. On March 16, 2020, the patient had difficulty breathing and chest tightness and notified the Hanoi Center for Disease Control. The Center took samples for testing and isolated the patient at a medical facility, then tested positive for SARS-CoV-2.
The patient and close contacts were taken to the Central Hospital for Tropical Diseases, Dong Anh facility, and samples were sent to the Central Institute of Hygiene and Epidemiology, which tested positive for SARS-CoV-2.
Currently, the patient is being quarantined at the Central Hospital for Tropical Diseases, Dong Anh facility, and is in stable health condition.

Upon entry, the patient had no symptoms and samples were taken in the early morning of March 18, 2020. The sample was concluded positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus by the Pasteur Institute in Ho Chi Minh City.
Currently, the patient is being quarantined at Cu Chi Field Hospital.
CASE NUMBER 90 (BN90):The patient is a 21-year-old female Vietnamese national residing in Binh Thanh District, Ho Chi Minh City. She has been to Barcelona, Spain for a hotel internship for the past month.
On March 15, 2020, the patient traveled from Barcelona - Spain to Dubai on Emirates flight number EK188, seat number 30C and arrived at Tan Son Nhat airport on March 16, 2020 on Emirates flight number EK392, seat number 36A.
Upon entry, the patient had a mild fever and cough and was transferred to a centralized quarantine area in Ho Chi Minh City where samples were taken. The sample was concluded positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus by the Pasteur Institute in Ho Chi Minh City.
CASE NUMBER 91 (BN91):The patient is a 43-year-old British male residing in District 2, Ho Chi Minh City. His occupation is a pilot for Vietnam Airlines. On February 8, 2020, he was a passenger from London, England, to Vietnam on Vietnam Airlines flight number VN10, seat number 5K. After that, the patient could not remember his travel schedule and international and domestic flights.
On March 16, 2020, the patient was a pilot on flight VN272 from Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi and VN607 from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City on the same day. From March 13, 2020 to March 18, 2020, the patient stayed in Ho Chi Minh City and visited several dining and entertainment venues.
On March 17, 2020, the patient developed fever and cough and on the afternoon of March 18, 2020, went to the Ho Chi Minh Hospital for Tropical Diseases for examination and was admitted with an X-ray showing damage to the right lung parenchyma. The Ho Chi Minh Hospital for Tropical Diseases tested positive late on March 18, 2020.
The specimen at the Pasteur Institute in Ho Chi Minh City tested positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus on March 20, 2020. The patient is currently being treated in isolation at the hospital.
