With about 1,000 people pouring in during rush hour, the inspection also encountered many difficulties, however, with the current risk of an outbreak, all epidemic prevention steps must be strictly implemented.

During the discussion, Mr. Vo Van Hung - Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Cua Lo Town said: There are currently 3 fishing ports in the area, of which 2 are large ports, Nghi Thuy and Cua Hoi, while the fishing port in Nghi Tan is less active. After a case of Covid-19 infection was found among traders taking fish at the fishing port, we have directed the wards and functional forces to closely inspect and monitor people entering and exiting the fishing port, and fully implement epidemic prevention measures because these are crowded places with a very high risk of infection.
For the traditional market, the town has deployed at least 1 vaccination dose for traders doing business at the market. Shortened the period of periodic testing to 5 days/time (before the infection, it was 7 days/time), and at the same time directed the wards and market management boards to review and monitor seafood traders who have come to Cua Hoi fishing port to import goods to have timely isolation and monitoring measures.
Previously, Cua Lo Town continuously recorded Covid-19 infections in the community, including cases related to the traditional market and Cua Hoi fishing port. This fishing port is also where many small traders from Vinh City and other districts often come to get goods.
