Thai Hoa Town elects additional positions as members of the Town People's Committee

(Baonghean.vn) - On July 14, the People's Council of Thai Hoa town held the 4th session of the 3rd term, 2016 - 2021. Electing additional members of the Town People's Committee.

At the meeting, the Town People's Council approved the proposal to remove from office the duties of the Town People's Council delegate and dismiss the position of Member of the People's Committee of Thai Hoa Town, Term III, 2016 - 2021 for Mr. Duong Dinh Van - former Head of Thai Hoa Town Police, due to being transferred and appointed as Head of Department PA83 - Nghe An Provincial Police according to Decision No. 1803/X11-X13 dated February 18, 2017 of the General Department of Politics of the Ministry of Public Security.

Also at the meeting of the Town People's Council, Mr. Tran Ngoc Tuan - Member of the Standing Committee of the Town Party Committee, Head of the Town Police, was elected to the position of Member of the People's Committee of Thai Hoa Town, Term III, 2016 - 2021, with 30/30 votes in favor.

The meeting also approved reports and proposals, notably the report on the implementation of socio-economic development tasks, national defense and security of the town in the first 6 months of 2017. Accordingly, the economic growth rate reached 6.75%, 0.17% higher than the same period in 2016. Total social development investment capital was 822 billion VND, up 7.7% over the same period in 2016. Budget revenue reached over 54 billion VND. 13 new enterprises were established, bringing the total number of enterprises in the town to 246. Of which, enterprises operating in the field of trade and services accounted for 62%.

Basic construction work; urban management, environmental resource management; and traffic safety corridor clearance were carried out according to plan. Social culture, education, and health care had many remarkable results; political security and social order and safety were maintained.

Currently, Thai Hoa town is focusing on completing documents and procedures to start construction of projects such as: Hieu II Bridge Project; Commercial center, supermarket combined with commercial townhouses in Block 8, Long Son Ward; Hieu market renovation and upgrading project; Quang Tien urban service area project...
