On the afternoon of September 4, Colonel Phan Dai Nghia - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Commander of the Provincial Military Command, led a delegation to inspect the preparation and readiness to respond to storm Yagi at the Military Commands of Que Phong, Quy Chau, Nghia Dan districts and Thai Hoa town.

According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, from September 5 to September 6, storm No. 3 is forecast to continue to increase in intensity, with strong winds reaching level 15, gusting above level 17 near the storm's center. In addition, many areas will experience moderate to heavy rain, and locally very heavy rain; there is a risk of flash floods, landslides and inundation in low-lying areas.

To be ready to respond to the developments of storms and heavy rains in the coming days, Colonel Phan Dai Nghia - Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Commander of the Provincial Military Command requested units to thoroughly grasp and strictly implement the telegrams of the Provincial Party Committee, Provincial People's Committee, Military Region 4 Command, and Provincial Military Command in storm prevention work. Commanders of units regularly monitor and update the storm situation, strictly maintain the duty regime, and be ready to mobilize when ordered.

Conduct checks and ensure the safety of barracks, warehouses, stations and military activities. Check the technical coefficients and safety status of ships, boats, motorbikes, rescue equipment and vehicles. Regularly coordinate with local authorities and units stationed in the area to grasp the situation, check dams, areas at risk of flash floods, landslides, call and notify people working and living on the fields and plantations to know the developments and find safe shelters./.
