Thai Hoa town has 141 cultural heritages.

(Baonghean.vn) - On December 17, Thai Hoa Town held a conference to review the work of Culture - Information - Sports in 2015; and to review 5 years of implementing the inventory of intangible cultural heritage in the period 2011-2015.

In 2015, the total number of blocks and hamlets registered to build and maintain the cultural title of Thai Hoa Town was 95/126, reaching 75.3%; there were 8 agencies and school units meeting cultural standards; 6/6 communes had cultural-sports institutions meeting national standards. The number of cultural families in the whole town reached 88%; sports families accounted for 24.5%.

In the work of preserving and promoting the value of historical relics, the Provincial Relic Management Board has coordinated with the Provincial Relic Management Board to inventory relics in the town with a total of 141 heritages; established a scientific dossier to include in the list of national intangible cultural heritages of Vac Village Festival; proposed to recognize the memorial site of Uncle Ho visiting Dong Hieu as a national intangible cultural heritage.

At the closing ceremony, the leaders of the Town People's Committee awarded certificates of recognition of the title "Cultural Village" to 5 blocks and hamlets; and awarded certificates of recognition of the title "Cultural Standard Unit" to 8 agencies, units and schools.
