Thai Hoa town won first prize at the 5th "Excellent Mediator Contest of Nghe An Province"
(Baonghean.vn) - On the evening of August 30 and morning of August 31, in Vinh city, the People's Committee of Nghe An province organized the final round of the 5th "Excellent Provincial Mediator" Contest.
Attending the opening ceremony were comrade Le Ve Quoc - Director of the Department of Legal Dissemination and Education (Ministry of Justice). On the side of Nghe An province, there were comrade Le Hong Vinh - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; representatives of the leaders of the Provincial Party Committee, departments, branches, sectors, and mass organizations at the provincial level; districts, cities, towns and 12 teams representing 26,402 mediators in the province.
Speaking at the opening ceremony of the contest, Comrade Le Hong Vinh - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee affirmed: The 5th "Excellent Mediator Contest of Nghe An Province" in 2023 is an opportunity to discover, commend and honor excellent mediators; create opportunities for mediators to learn, exchange experiences, accumulate legal knowledge, improve mediation skills, contributing to raising awareness of the whole society about the position and role of mediation work at the grassroots level. At the same time, it is noted that the organization of the contest at the grassroots level has received the consensus and support, attracted a large number of people and left many good impressions, contributing to improving the effectiveness of legal propaganda work in the province.
Before the final round of the 5th "Provincial Excellent Mediator" Contest, 21/21 district-level units organized the contest across the district, of which 4/21 units organized the contest from commune level, district-level contest clusters; 4/21 units organized district-level cluster contests; 13/21 units organized a joint contest for commune-level units at the district level.
Participating in the final round of the provincial competition were 12 best teams selected from 21 teams of 3 provinces.preliminary roundin 3 areas: Vinh city, Do Luong district and Thai Hoa town.
With 4 rounds, 12 teams introduced the characteristics and situation of local mediation work as well as demonstrated the local cultural identity. In the skit section - the most anticipated part of the competition, the teams were inspired by real-life situations: family marriage, land disputes, etc. to dramatize, bringing laughter to the audience as well as incorporating profound lessons.
After 2 days of intense competition, many competitions introduced the characteristics and situation of mediation work in the locality as well as demonstrated the local cultural identity.
At the end of the competition, the Organizing Committee awarded the first prize to the Thai Hoa town team; the second prize to the Dien Chau and Tan Ky teams; the third prize to the Thanh Chuong, Ky Son, Quynh Luu and Hung Nguyen teams; and the encouragement prizes to Vinh city, Nam Dan, Que Phong, Do Luong and Quy Hop.
At the contest, comrade Le Hong Vinh awarded 5 Certificates of Merit to groups and 5 Certificates of Merit to individuals for their outstanding achievements in organizing the contest.
Thus, Thai Hoa town will be the team representing Nghe An province to participate in the preliminary round of the 4th National Excellent Mediator Competition held in Khanh Hoa province from September 21-22, 2023.
