Thai Hoa town awarded 400 national flags to fishermen

(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of November 10, the Thai Hoa Town Military Command coordinated with the Hoa Hieu Ward Youth Union and Hoa Hieu II Secondary School to launch a movement to give national flags to fishermen and write letters to soldiers on remote islands with the theme "I love my Fatherland".

Through the Provincial Military Command, representatives of Thai Hoa Town presented 400 national flags to fishermen in Quynh Luu, Dien Chau districts and Cua Lo Town.

At the launching ceremony, through the Nghe An Provincial Military Command, Thai Hoa Town presented 400 national flags to fishermen in Quynh Luu, Dien Chau districts, Cua Lo Town and 400 letters to soldiers on remote islands. These flags were donated by officers, soldiers of the town's armed forces, union members, youth, students of Hoa Hieu Ward, and Hoa Hieu II Secondary School.

This is an activity within the program of launching the movement of giving national flags to fishermen at sea by the Nghe An Provincial Military Command. The activity aims to encourage and motivate fishermen to confidently overcome the waves and go out to sea; firmly protect the sacred sovereignty of the sea and islands of the Fatherland.
