On the afternoon of July 20, on the social network Facebook, there was information posted that "people discovered 2 dead bodies floating near the shore (Lam River section in Tien Kieu hamlet, Dong Van commune) that no one has claimed".

On the Facebook page of Anh Son Nha Choa, there was also a post stating that at the Lam River section in Tien Kieu hamlet, Dong Van commune, Thanh Chuong district, people discovered two bodies floating near the shore that had not been claimed. So the announcement was made so that the victims' families would know, or if anyone saw the victims' families looking for them, they could quickly report to the above location to claim the victims. The above content was also shared and commented on by many Facebook users.

Upon learning the information, relatives of Mr. Nguyen Van Dong (born in 1952) and his wife, Mrs. Tran Thi Loi (born in 1958, residing in Hamlet 3, Vinh Son Commune, Anh Son District) also contacted and went to Dong Van Commune.

So, today has been the 4th day but the whereabouts of Mr. Dong and his wife have not been found. Before that, at around 6:00 a.m. on July 17, Mr. Dong and his wife took a motorboat to Lam River (through Long Son Commune, Anh Son District) to fish. However, at around 8:00 a.m. on the same day, people discovered Mr. Dong and his wife's boat drifting to shore, but they were nowhere to be seen.

At that time, Mr. Dong and his wife's motorboat was still running, and Mr. Dong's cell phone was still on the boat.

Mr. Nguyen Quoc Chuong - Chairman of Dong Van Commune People's Committee said, we are sending staff to find and verify the person who posted the above false information on Facebook for handling.
