Opening of the road connecting National Highway 1A with National Highway 48

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of September 3, the People's Committee of Nghe An province organized the opening of the road connecting National Highway 1A (from Hoang Mai town) to National Highway 48 (Thai Hoa town). This is a key project that opens up many opportunities for economic and social development for the northwestern localities of the province with the economic clusters of North Nghe An and South Thanh Hoa.

Comrade Vuong Dinh Hue - Deputy Prime Minister and leaders of the Central Government and Nghe An province attended the ceremony.

Attending the ceremony were comrades: Vuong Dinh Hue - Politburo member, Deputy Prime Minister; Party Central Committee members: Phan Dinh Trac - Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission; Le Thi Thuy - Deputy Head of the Central Inspection Commission.

Comrade Nguyen Xuan Duong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee highly appreciated the economic development connection ability of the route.

The route connecting National Highway 1A to National Highway 48 is 29km long, newly invested and built with 2 lanes. The total investment of the route is 855 billion VND, passing through Hoang Mai town (9km), Quynh Luu district (9km), Nghia Dan district (9.5km) and Thai Hoa town (1.5km). The starting point at Km0 intersects with National Highway 1A at Km387+500. The end point at Km28+990 connects with National Highway 48 at Km30+609.

The completion of the route opens up many new development opportunities for localities along both sides of the route, promoting socio-economic development of localities in the Northwest region of the province and connecting with the economic regions of North Nghe An and South Thanh Hoa.

Central and provincial leaders and sectors cut the ribbon to clear the route connecting National Highway 1A - National Highway 48.

Especially connecting and facilitating the economic development of key areas and industrial parks and factories such as: Wood processing factory and MDF wood - this is also one of the key projects of the province officially inaugurated on September 3, 2016; Nghia My Industrial Park (Thai Hoa Town); Tan Thang Cement, Hoang Mai II, TH Milk... and continuing to call for industrial investment along both sides of the route.
