Effectively implement propaganda and support work for taxpayers

Based on actual monitoring and listening to the opinions of the People's Committee of Hoa Binh town, the monitoring delegation proposed that the People's Committee of Hoa Binh town should address a number of issues such as: shortcomings and difficulties in the work of tax collection authorization; results before and after tax collection authorization via post office; causes and total outstanding debts of business households; results of handling outstanding debts and backlogs for business households in the period of 2016 - 2018...

According to the report, the budget revenue from the period 2016 - 2018 of Hoa Binh town has met and exceeded the set plan. However, there is a worrying fact that the number of business households in the area is increasingly decreasing, affecting the revenue source, specifically: in 2016, there was a decrease of 41 households, in 2017, there was a decrease of 78 households and in 2018, there was a decrease of 40 households.

By the end of 2018, Hoa Binh town had only 355 business households compared to 459 households at the beginning of 2016. Chairman of Hoa Binh town People's Committee Vi Hong Duong said the reason was that many households moved to other localities to do business or changed their business, stopped business activities...

Regarding the issue of tax collection authorization, the representative of the People's Committee of Hoa Binh town also said that after nearly 2 years of implementation, the authorization of tax collection through the post office has gradually stabilized but there are still many shortcomings, in which the handling of households with outstanding debts is still slow, making tax collection ineffective.

Mr. Pham Van Hoa acknowledged the efforts of the Party Committee, government, and Tax Advisory Council of Hoa Binh town in tax management in recent times.

The Chief of the Provincial People's Council Office also requested the People's Committee of Hoa Binh town to coordinate and effectively implement propaganda work, support taxpayers, dialogue with business households; propose the district to plan and upgrade the market to have a source of budget revenue in the coming time...
