Carry out the summary of 10 years of implementing Resolution 26 of the Politburo on Nghe An on schedule and with quality

On the morning of March 23, in the regular meeting, the Standing Committee of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee discussed the Plan to summarize 10 years of implementing Resolution No. 26-NQ/TW, dated July 30, 2013 of the Politburo on the direction and tasks for developing Nghe An province until 2020.

Comrade Thai Thanh Quy - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council chaired the meeting.

Also attending were comrades: Nguyen Van Thong - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Nguyen Duc Trung - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; comrades representing a number of Central Party Committees and the Central Party Office, comrades in the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and leaders of a number of departments and branches.

WILL PROPOSE THE POLITBURE TO ISSUE A RESOLUTION ON NGHE AN

IN THE NEW PHASE

Accordingly, the summary will closely follow the content of Resolution No. 26-NQ/TW and Notice No. 55-TB/TW dated April 20, 2019 of the Politburo on the 5-year review of the implementation of Resolution No. 26-NQ/TW; the viewpoints of the Party, State, resolutions, conclusions, programs and projects of the province on the implementation of Resolution No. 26-NQ/TW.

The summary organization process will be carried out from district to provincial levels; at the same time, it is required that relevant levels and sectors closely coordinate, fully collect opinions from experts, central departments, ministries, sectors and relevant localities; well carry out preparation work, organize the summary seriously, on schedule, ensuring quality and efficiency.

The content focuses on evaluating the leadership and implementation of the organization; the results of implementing the main tasks and solutions in Resolution No. 26-NQ/TW and Notice No. 55-TB/TW in the fields of: Socio-economic development, foreign affairs, national defense and security; Party building and political system. Along with that, it clearly analyzes the advantages, limitations, difficulties, obstacles, causes, and draws lessons learned in the implementation process.

On that basis, combined with forecasts of domestic and international situations, propose directions, goals, tasks, and main solutions for the development of Nghe An province until 2030, with a vision to 2050; develop and propose the Politburo to issue a new Resolution on directions and tasks for the development of Nghe An province until 2030, with a vision to 2050, associated with major goals, tasks, solutions, and appropriate specific mechanisms and policies.

Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Duc Trung emphasized that summarizing 10 years of implementing Resolution No. 26 - NQ/TW is extremely important, evaluating the entire implementation process.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee said that, according to the assignment of the Politburo, the Central Economic Commission will preside over and coordinate with the province to conduct the summary, so it is necessary to work so that the Commission can participate from the beginning, striving to report to the Politburo by the end of the first quarter, beginning of the second quarter of 2023.

Participating in the discussion, comrade Vo Thi Minh Sinh - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province suggested that the draft Plan should clarify the reports of specific associations in the past 10 years and assign a focal point to implement the report.

Regarding the summary outline, comrade Vo Thi Minh Sinh suggested that it is necessary to further detail the Party's foreign affairs, State diplomacy and people's diplomacy in the section on expanding foreign relations and international economic integration.

Regarding the Appendix on Party building and rectification work and the political system, comrade Vo Thi Minh Sinh suggested adding a separate appendix for the Fatherland Front system and socio-political organizations.

General Secretary and President Nguyen Phu Trong: Nghe An has seen a clear direction

(Baonghean.vn) - The General Secretary and President highly appreciated the efforts and will of the Party Committee and people of Nghe An in implementing Resolution 26 of the Politburo, and the implementation process has clearly shown the direction for Nghe An.

Concluding this content, the Secretary of the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee emphasized that summarizing 10 years of implementing Resolution No. 26-NQ/TW of the Politburo is one of the most important contents in 2022. The spirit is to complete the summary contents in December 2022 to report to the Central Committee to collect opinions from relevant parties and propose the Politburo to listen to the summary in April 2023.

The Provincial Party Secretary acknowledged the initiative in drafting the Summary Plan of the Provincial People's Committee's Party Committee; and also noted some additional contents on the spirit and methods of conducting the summary.

Accordingly, before reporting to the Politburo, provincial leaders and relevant agencies need to get involved with a determined spirit, stick to the work, seek opinions from Government agencies and the National Assembly to advise on new, stronger specific mechanisms and policies for the development of Nghe An in the coming period.

At the meeting, the Provincial Party Standing Committee unanimously proposed that the Politburo and the Secretariat assign the Central Economic Commission to preside over and coordinate with Nghe An province and the Government Party Committee, relevant ministries and branches... to develop a report summarizing 10 years of implementing Resolution No. 26 - NQ/TW.

On July 30, 2013, the Politburo issued Resolution No. 26-NQ/TW on directions and tasks for developing Nghe An province until 2020.

On March 21, 2019, the Politburo listened to the report summarizing 5 years of implementing Resolution No. 26-NQ/TW, then issued Notice No. 55-TB/TW dated April 20, 2019, in which the Politburo basically agreed with the recommendations of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee, and will summarize Resolution 26 in 2023.
