Also attending were comrade Thai Thi An Chung - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, leaders of the Provincial People's Council Committees and related departments and branches.

The 11th session is scheduled to take place over 2.5 days (from December 7 to December 9, 2022) at the Vinh City Convention Center, No. 25, Le Mao Street, Vinh City. In this regular year-end session, in addition to reviewing reports, discussing in groups, discussing in the hall and considering and approving draft resolutions, the Provincial People's Council will conduct a question-and-answer session, scheduled for the afternoon of December 8.

At this session, the Provincial People's Council plans to review and evaluate 34 reports on the implementation of socio-economic development plans, public investment, and implementation of National Target Programs; Report on the 2022 work results of the Standing Committee, Provincial People's Council Committees, Provincial People's Committee, Provincial People's Court, Provincial People's Procuracy, and Provincial Civil Judgment Enforcement Agency.

The Provincial People's Council will also consider the report on the results of the Provincial People's Council's thematic supervision of the State management of minerals in Nghe An province; the report on the results of the Provincial People's Council's thematic supervision of the implementation of the Provincial People's Council's Resolutions on land recovery and change of land use purposes according to the provisions of the Land Law to implement works and projects in Nghe An province in the period of 2016 - 2021 and other reports according to the provisions of law.

The Provincial People's Council will also consider and approve 19 draft resolutions. In addition to regular resolutions, the Provincial People's Council will consider and approve resolutions on mechanisms and policies as well as resolutions to create motivation to promote the province's socio-economic development, implement 3 National Target Programs and decide on a number of important contents under the authority of the Provincial People's Council, such as: Resolution stipulating a special mechanism for regulating 100% of land use fee revenue (from projects with land use fee collection) for the provincial budget to create capital for compensation and site clearance for the Vinh International Airport Project and investment in the construction of an access bridge connecting National Highway 7C with Cua Lo Deepwater Port; Resolution stipulating a number of policies to preserve and promote the value of cultural heritage in Nghe An province, period 2023 - 2027;...

At the press conference, 5 journalists had 10 comments on the contents related to the program and content of the session; at the same time, they expressed their opinions on the contents of public interest such as: Handling of compensation for site clearance, resettlement of Ban Ve Hydropower Plant; conclusion on the cause of subsidence in Chau Hong commune (Quy Hop), as well as State management work related to a number of investment projects in the area;...

Speaking at the closing press conference, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Nam Dinh thanked the journalists for their many contributions and discussions; at the same time, he informed about some results of activities, as well as innovations in the way of organizing meetings of the Provincial People's Council.

Accordingly, from the beginning of the 2021-2026 term up to now, the 18th Provincial People's Council has always been concerned with finding many solutions to innovate and improve the quality of activities, especially in organizing meetings. In 2022, the Provincial People's Council held 6 meetings, including 1 regular meeting, 5 thematic meetings and the upcoming 11th meeting (regular meeting) is the 7th meeting held this year. All meetings apply information technology and organize meetings in a paperless form.

In addition to the two regular meetings, five thematic meetings promptly resolved urgent and unexpected issues to promptly serve the province's socio-economic activities in 2022.

On this occasion, on behalf of the Provincial People's Council, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Nam Dinh acknowledged the contributions of the press agencies when clearly demonstrating the role of a bridge between the elected agencies and the people and voters of the province through providing information on the activities of the elected agencies to voters; at the same time, conveying the thoughts, aspirations, recommendations and proposals of voters to the elected agencies for transfer to competent agencies for resolution and response.

The Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council also discussed ways to coordinate and provide information between the Office of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation - Provincial People's Council with journalists to most effectively carry out propaganda work at the 11th session of the 18th Provincial People's Council.
