According to the working program, after the opening speech of National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan, the National Assembly Standing Committee will listen to Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam, Head of the National Steering Committee for Prevention and Control of the respiratory disease caused by the new strain of Corona virus (Covid-19), report on the prevention and control of the Covid-19 epidemic.

Regarding the law-making work, the National Assembly Standing Committee gave opinions on issues with different opinions in 6 draft laws: Law on Investment under the Public-Private Partnership model; Law on amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Natural Disaster Prevention and Control and the Law on Dikes; Law on amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Promulgation of Legal Documents; Law on amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Construction; Law on Investment (amended); Law on Enterprises (amended). In addition, the draft Law on Vietnam Border Guard will also be commented on for the first time.
Also at this session, the National Assembly Standing Committee will give opinions on adjusting the ratio of allocated operating budget for the General Department of Taxation and the General Department of Customs for the 2016-2020 period; transferring part of the operating budget of the General Department of Taxation to the General Department of State Reserves, the State Securities Commission and the Academy of Finance. The financial and income management mechanism is associated with the characteristics of State administrative management agencies.
