Midfielder Nguyen Quang Vinh: 'U19 Vietnam can win against U19 Australia'
Midfielder Nguyen Quang Vinh believes that if U19 Vietnam implements the proposed tactics well, they still have a chance to defeat U19 Australia.
On the afternoon of July 20, the Vietnam U19 team continued to train in Surabaya to prepare for the second match in Group B within the framework of the 2024 Southeast Asian U19 Championship. The whole team showed high concentration before the confrontation with strong opponent U19 Australia.

This is also a decisive match for the ability of coach Hua Hien Vinh and his team to continue. Therefore, the coaching staff has planned very carefully, from clearing the psychology to free the players' legs to analyzing the opponent and coming up with the most effective tactics.
In this afternoon's training session, coach Hua Hien Vinh also tried to create a comfortable atmosphere on the training ground to avoid pressure on the young players, while at the same time, coordinating with his colleagues in the coaching staff to further hone their attack, defense and goal-scoring skills.

The group of U19 Vietnam is considered balanced. Therefore, the second-placed team will have a hard time competing with the second-placed teams in the other two groups. This means that coach Hua Hien Vinh and his team must win against U19 Australia to open up the opportunity to compete for the top spot in the group.
This is not an easy task because when reaching the U19 level, Australia is always considered stronger than the teams of the same age group in the Southeast Asian region. In the opening match, they also easily defeated U19 Laos with a score of 6-0.

However, football always contains surprises, but to make that happen, U19 Vietnam needs to play with focus, play with more than 100% of their strength and be truly effective in both defense and attack.
Sharing before the training session, midfielder Nguyen Quang Vinh said that if U19 Vietnam implements the proposed tactics well, they still have a chance to defeat the kangaroo team. “The coaching staff will have tactics and strategies to enter the match. If they implement the proposed tactics well, U19 Vietnam can absolutely win.

In the past 2 days, head coach Hua Hien Vinh has also cleared the mind and spirit of the whole team to be comfortable, entering the match after a 1-1 draw with U19 Myanmar. The coaching staff also reminded during practice to be ready for the match," said Nguyen Quang Vinh.
The match between Vietnam U19 and Australia U19 will take place at 3:00 p.m. tomorrow (July 21) at Gelora 10 November Stadium./.
