The program of planting 6,500 coastal protection trees in Hoang Mai Town is an activity towards the 91st Anniversary of the Founding of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26, 1931 - March 26, 2022), welcoming the Congress of the Youth Union at all levels for the 2022 - 2027 term, and the 65th Anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV). At the same time, it is also a program responding to the Prime Minister's "1 billion trees" project for the period 2021 - 2025, contributing to protecting the ecological environment and responding to climate change.

In the Spring of the Year of the Tiger 2022, BIDV Bank chose Nghe An as the starting province to carry out the Tet tree planting movement "Forever grateful to Uncle Ho" and his teachings.

At the program, Nghe An Provincial Youth Union Secretary Le Van Luong emphasized that in recent years, tree planting and afforestation activities organized by Youth Union, Association and Team at all levels have become increasingly practical and effective, attracting a large number of union members and young people in the province to participate. Many effective programs have been implemented such as: greening barren hills, integrating into Green Sunday, protecting hometown rivers, cleaning village roads, alleys and planting more trees when Tet comes, Spring comes; planting rows of trees for youth to build urban civilization; organizing planting of youth nurseries, youth flower gardens, and livelihood tree gardens.

In addition, the youth force also takes the lead in forest protection, natural disaster prevention; actively participates in fire prevention, fire fighting and forest protection propaganda.

Currently, the living environment is seriously affected, with many consequences due to climate change, greenhouse effect, natural disasters, floods, etc. In this situation, every cadre, union member, and youth needs to take advantage of all time and space to participate in planting, protecting, and caring for trees and shade trees right at their offices, schools, and places where they work, study, and live.

At the same time, actively participate in building models of afforestation and fruit tree planting with high economic value. Timely condemn acts of destroying trees, destroying the environment and effectively deploy the movement "Each cadre, union member and youth is a propagandist in mobilizing to raise awareness of responsibility for protecting and caring for trees".
