Article 294 of the 2015 Penal Code stipulates the crime of intentionally causing harmful interference, as follows:

1. Anyone who intentionally causes harmful interference or obstructs the normal operation of a radio communication system, causing damage from VND 200,000,000 to under VND 500,000,000, or has been administratively sanctioned for this act or has been convicted of this crime and has not had his/her criminal record expunged but continues to commit the violation, shall be subject to a fine of VND 50,000,000 to VND 100,000,000 or to non-custodial reform for up to 3 years.

2. Committing a crime in one of the following cases shall be punishable by imprisonment from 1 year to 5 years:

a) Organized;

b) Causing damage of VND 500,000,000 or more;

c) Dangerous recidivism.

Thus, for the crime of intentionally causing harmful interference, the maximum prison sentence is up to 5 years.
