Power Generation Corporation 1 - Ban Ve Hydropower Company donated gratitude houses and boarding houses to students in Tuong Duong

Attending the ceremony, on behalf of the local government, there was Mr. Kha Van Ot - Vice Chairman of the People's Council of Tuong Duong district. On behalf of the sponsoring unit, there were Mr. Nguyen Huu Thinh - General Director of Power Generation Corporation 1; Mr. Ta Huu Hung - Director of Ban Ve Hydropower Company.

6 households were awarded gratitude houses this time, including: Mr. Lo Van Noi's household (Co Phao village, Yen Na commune), Lo Thi Moc (Ve village, Yen Na commune), Lo Van Ty (Ve village, Yen Na commune), Cut Van Than (Coi village, Luong Minh commune), Lo Thi Ba (La village, Luong Minh commune), Lu May Lam (Cham Puong village, Luong Minh commune).

The projects started construction in July 2020. After more than 3 months of construction, they have been completed on schedule, ensuring quality to be handed over to the families.

Also on this occasion, Power Generation Corporation 1 - Ban Ve Hydropower Company and the Tuong Duong district government presented a dormitory building to students of Yen Na Secondary School.

The total cost of construction of the above projects is 5 billion VND, of which Power Generation Corporation 1 - Ban Ve Hydropower Company sponsors 4 billion VND, the rest is invested by Tuong Duong district.

Ban Ve Hydropower Company is a business located in a remote commune in the mountainous district of Tuong Duong, Nghe An province - one of the poorest districts in the country. Here, the lives of the people are still difficult. Therefore, for many years, Ban Ve Hydropower Company has always determined that besides the goal of producing electricity to serve socio-economic development, another important task is to focus on the community with social security activities.

With that policy and spirit, the Company has regularly joined hands and contributed to localities, implementing many practical programs in hunger eradication and poverty reduction, contributing to supporting people, especially in the downstream areas, to strive to improve their lives.
