Vinh City rewards 12 outstanding collectives in following Uncle Ho's teachings
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of May 25, Vinh City Party Committee held a summary of the emulation campaign "Nghe An follows Uncle Ho's teachings" for the period 2019 - 2020. Attending were representatives of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, leaders of the City Party Committee and People's Committee.

In the period of 2019 - 2020, Vinh City Party Committee seriously organized the study and dissemination of the topic "Historical significance, eternal value of President Ho Chi Minh's Testament, results of 50 years of implementing Uncle Ho's Testament" and the emulation campaign "Nghe An follows Uncle Ho's instructions". The Standing Committee of the City Party Committee has identified 4 tasks that need to be focused on: Ensuring urban order and environmental sanitation; building a civilized, green, clean and beautiful city; taking care of people's lives, implementing social security policies well; directing the promotion of administrative reform.
Through that, up to now, many targets and tasks of the city for the 2015 - 2020 term have been basically achieved and exceeded; mobilizing internal resources from the people of 35.6 billion VND. The city has also effectively implemented Resolution No. 18 and 19 of the Party Central Committee (12th tenure); coordinated with the Provincial People's Committee to organize a Conference to deploy the contents of Notice No. 55 of the Politburo on the development of Vinh city; called for 27 large-scale projects, proposed 6 areas that need to promote investment capital.
The whole city built 62 models of "Skilled Mass Mobilization". In the period of 2019 - 2020, many typical models appeared in studying and following the ideology, morality and style of Ho Chi Minh such as: "Joining hands for the poor" of the City Fatherland Front; "Saturday for the people" of the Party Cell of the Police for Administrative Management of Urban Order"; "100% concrete and asphalt roads" of the cadres and people of Hamlet 14, Nghi Lien Commune...
On this occasion, Vinh City Party Committee commended 12 collectives with outstanding achievements in the Nghe An emulation movement following Uncle Ho's teachings in the period 2019 - 2020.
