Vinh City temporarily suspends on-site food and beverage services from 2:00 p.m. on July 14.

Accordingly, on July 3, 2021, Vinh City People's Committee issued Document No. 4371/UBND-KT on the implementation of Plan No. 139/KH-UBND, which allows food and beverage services for licensed establishments, in the form of take-out or on-site consumption, but establishments must base on the nature of the goods and business area to arrange to ensure distance and safety according to regulations.

However, the epidemic situation is still complicated, many provinces and large cities in the country have had outbreaks, many citizens have returned from epidemic areas. In addition, through inspection of food service establishments, there is still a situationtcrowded, not ensuring the prescribed distance leads to a high risk of disease transmission.

Therefore, in order to focus on implementing well the regulations on prevention and control of Covid-19 epidemic, the City People's Committee requests the Economic Department, the City Center for Culture, Sports and Communications, and the People's Committees of wards and communes to immediately implement the following contents:

1.PauseFor food service establishments in the city, only take-out is allowed and must ensure regulations on Covid-19 prevention and control.

Implementation time: starting from 2:00 p.m. on July 14, 2021 until further notice.

2.Assign the People's Committees of wards and communes to notify the people and food service establishments about the temporary suspension of food service establishments. At the same time, strengthen inspection and strictly handle violating establishments.

3.The Economic Department shall guide and coordinate with the People's Committees of wards and communes to organize inspections and handle violating establishments according to regulations.

4.Assign the City Center for Culture, Sports and Communications to strengthen propaganda work so that people know about the temporary suspension of operations of food service establishments in the area.
