Responding to Quy Hop voters' petition about land in Chau Hong Industrial Park
Voters of Chau Hong commune, Quy Hop district reported: In 2012, the Provincial People's Committee issued a Decision approving the Chau Hong Industrial Cluster. However, 12 years have passed but the land in the industrial cluster is still left fallow, causing land waste. Voters requested the Provincial People's Committee to direct and find solutions.
Regarding this issue, the Provincial People's Committee responded as follows:
1. On the current status of Chau Hong Industrial Park planning
- Chau Hong Industrial Cluster was approved by the Provincial People's Committee to be added to the Planning of Industrial Clusters in the province in Decision No. 91/2007/QD-UBND.DT dated January 11, 2007.
- Based on the proposal of the People's Committee of Quy Hop district, Chau Hong Industrial Cluster continues to be included in the Industrial Cluster Development Plan under the Nghe An Provincial Planning for the period 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050 approved by the Prime Minister in Decision No. 1059/QD-TTg dated September 14, 2023.
The process of building the Nghe An Provincial Planning has been carried out in full steps according to regulations and has been carefully studied by relevant departments, branches and localities before reporting and proposing to the Provincial People's Committee for consideration and submission to the Government for approval.

2. The Chau Hong Industrial Cluster has been approved by the Provincial People's Committee for detailed construction planning at a scale of 1/1000 in Decision No. 2653/QD-UBND.DTXD dated July 16, 2012, with a planning area of 15 hectares. Currently, the Chau Hong Industrial Cluster is attracting enterprises, organizations, and units to become investors in building technical infrastructure for the industrial cluster.
On June 14, 2024, the People's Committee of Quy Hop district issued Official Dispatch No. 1122/UBND-KTHT requesting to remove Chau Hong Industrial Cluster from the list of industrial clusters of Nghe An province. In response to the above content, the Department of Industry and Trade issued Official Dispatch No. 1658/SCT-QLCN dated July 16, 2024; accordingly, requesting the People's Committee of Quy Hop district to continue promoting investment in enterprises, cooperatives, and organizations to act as investors in building infrastructure for Chau Hong Industrial Cluster.
In case of failure to attract enterprises, organizations and units to be investors in infrastructure construction, the People's Committee of Quy Hop district is requested to review and report to clarify the specific situation so that the Department of Industry and Trade can coordinate with departments and branches to advise the Provincial People's Committee to remove Chau Hong Industrial Cluster from the Provincial Planning in the next adjustment period.
