Faced with that situation, the Provincial People's Committee has directed the Department of Information and Communications to deploy many measures to propagate, warn, and guide people to be vigilant against scams on the Internet in general and social networks in particular, such as: (Be alert to the risk of revealing accounts and passwords from social networking sites and online services; strengthen the work of ensuring network information security during the Lunar New Year; Information security bulletin; Code of conduct on social networks...); strengthen inspection and examination work to handle according to regulations; coordinate with the police to verify subjects of fraud and appropriation of property via the Internet.
At the same time, the Ministry of Information and Communications is requested to request cross-border social network service providers to remove and filter content showing signs of fraud.
