Awarding 338 sets of medals at the 8th Nghe An Provincial Sports Festival
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of May 15, in Vinh city, the closing ceremony of the 8th Nghe An Provincial Sports Festival 2018 took place. Attending were comrade Le Minh Thong - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Congress Organizing Committee.

The 8th Nghe An Provincial Sports Festival took place from February to May 2018 with the participation of nearly 1,500 officials, coaches, and athletes from 21 districts, cities, towns, and sectors: Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, Provincial Military Command.
After 5 days of official competition, the Sports Congress awarded 338 sets of medals to athletes with high achievements in 18 sports.
At the closing ceremony, the Organizing Committee also awarded certificates of merit to 10 units that well organized the Commune-level Sports Festival and 10 units that well organized the District-level Sports Festival.

The Organizing Committee awarded the Souvenir Flag to the top 5 units in the province in terms of competition achievements, respectively: Vinh city, Quynh Luu, Dien Chau, Yen Thanh, Do Luong and the top 3 units in the mountainous region: Tuong Duong, Thanh Chuong, Que Phong.
