Giving gifts to 300 students in Con Cuong before the new school year

The total value of the support gifts is 50 million VND, including 500 kg of rice, 12 scholarships, each worth 500,000 VND and other gifts in kind such as rice cookers, electric fans, food trays, water filtration chemicals... worth 43 million VND, given to 300 students of Con Cuong Ethnic Minority Boarding School - Secondary School.

This activity is also part of the coordination program between the Red Cross and Nghe An Agricultural Materials and Food Joint Stock Company. Accordingly, every month the two units will give gifts to visit and support disadvantaged localities. During this period, the delegation supported schools and students affected by the recent floods caused by storm No. 4 to help students and schools overcome difficulties and stabilize teaching and learning activities to enter the new school year.

Con Cuong Ethnic Boarding High School and Secondary School has 12 classes, nearly 300 students, and all of them are boarding students. The recent flood caused by storm No. 4 caused the school to be submerged nearly 3 meters deep, causing all books, learning equipment and machines to be wet and swept away.
