Of the 101 gifts, 95 were given to workers in difficult circumstances, and 6 were given to union officials who are wounded soldiers, sick soldiers, and relatives of martyrs (each gift is worth 300,000 VND).

Representatives of the District Labor Federation came to give gifts directly to workers at Minh Anh Garment Company, Prex Vinh Garment Company and workers under the grassroots trade unions in the district.

This is one of the activities of the Do Luong District Labor Federation towards the founding day of the Vietnam Trade Union on July 28 and War Invalids and Martyrs Day on July 27.

*Same day,Representative of the forum "Quan Chieu Van"and leaders of Que Phong district and Chau Kim commune organized the handover of a gratitude house (worth 50 million VND) and presented gifts (worth 10 million VND) to Mrs. Luong Thi Thi, a lonely elderly person.

Ms. Luong Thi Thi, 77 years old, in Pieng Chao village, Chau Kim commune, Que Phong district, lives alone in a dilapidated hut, relying on the subsidy for the elderly living alone. Faced with this situation, members of the forum “Quan Chieu Van” – a forum for literature lovers – raised money to support (60 million VND) through the publication of literary works by members.

After nearly 2 months of construction, the 2-room house with a cement yard was completed. This meaningful activity helped Ms. Luong Thi Thi feel secure and stable in her life.
