Presenting 400 Mid-Autumn gifts to children in Ky Son border

(Baonghean.vn) - The National Volunteer Center, the Nghe An Child Care Project and the International Youth Volunteer Team of Vinh University coordinated with Ky Son district to organize a Mid-Autumn Festival program for children in the border commune of Nam Can on the evening of September 23.

With the theme "Mid-Autumn Festival in the Village", the units organized a full moon festival with many meaningful activities: Children got to meet Cuoi and Hang in their incarnations, watch lion dances, lantern parades, feasts... and were given gifts including candy, star lanterns...

On this occasion, volunteer units and Nam Can Border Guard Station also presented more than 400 gifts to students of Nam Can Kindergarten; bringing a joyful and warm Mid-Autumn Festival to children in difficult border areas, promptly encouraging and motivating them to go to school.
