Giving health insurance cards and social insurance books to poor people in Vinh city

Attending the program were Mr. Hoang Van Minh - Director of Provincial Social Insurance; leaders of the Fund for Vietnamese Stature - Bac A Commercial Joint Stock Bank, Vinh City People's Committee, Ben Thuy Ward, Vinh Tan Ward and people in difficult circumstances in the area.

Speaking at the program, comrade Hoang Van Minh - Director of the Provincial Social Insurance stated: Social insurance and Health insurance are two important social policies of the Party and State, the main pillars of the social security system, contributing to the implementation of social progress and equity.

In recent years, with the attention, leadership and direction of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee of Nghe An province and the coordination and support of all levels, sectors and business community, the implementation of Social Insurance and Health Insurance policies in the province has achieved many important results, with more and moreworker, people participate and enjoy benefits.

With the tradition of "mutual love and affection" and implementing the general policy of the Party and State to "leave no one behind", from January 2022, Vietnam Social Security has coordinated with localities to launch the Program to support the donation of Social Insurance books and Health Insurance cards nationwide to help people in difficult circumstances have the opportunity to access and participate in voluntary Social Insurance and Health Insurance.

Continuing to promote that spirit, in the first quarter of 2023, Nghe An Provincial Social Insurance continued to receive contributions and support from 02 organizations and enterprises: Ho Chi Minh City Association for Supporting Poor Patients and Fund for Vietnamese Stature - Bac A Commercial Joint Stock Bank with the amount of: 264,837,599 VND.

With this funding,Social insuranceNghe An province has been coordinating with local authorities at all levels and relevant units to review, make a list and implement the contents to give voluntary social insurance books and health insurance cards to people in difficult circumstances in the province.

At the Program, leaders of the Provincial Social Insurance and the Fund for Vietnamese Stature - Bac A Commercial Joint Stock Bank presented 20 health insurance cards, 6 voluntary social insurance books to people in difficult circumstances in Ben Thuy ward and 20 health insurance cards, 6 voluntary social insurance books to people in difficult circumstances in Vinh Tan ward./.
