Dismantling a drug trafficking ring from Nghe An to Da Nang for consumption
(Baonghean.vn) - An illegal drug trafficking ring from Nghe An to Da Nang for consumption, run by two female subjects, has just been dismantled.

At 7:00 p.m. on October 13, 2020, at the sea border area of Hai Van Border Guard Station, Da Nang City, the Central Region Drug and Crime Prevention Task Force (Team 2) of the Department of Drug and Crime Prevention of the Border Guard presided over and coordinated with Nghe An Provincial Border Guard (PCMT&TP Department, Dien Thanh Border Guard Station and Hanh Dich Border Guard Station), Quang Binh Provincial Border Guard, Thua Thien Hue Provincial Border Guard, Da Nang City Border Guard and the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department of Da Nang City Police to successfully fight and arrest 02 women.

The two arrested subjects are Le Thi Hau (born in 1997), residing in Hoa Khanh Bac ward, Lien Chieu district, Da Nang city and Vo Ngoc Anh (born in 1995), residing in Hoa An ward, Cam Le district, Da Nang city.
Two subjects were illegally transporting drugs, the seized evidence included 1 kg of synthetic drugs (ketamine) and some related evidence.
Through initial statements, the subjects confessed that they had gone directly from Da Nang city to Que Phong district, Nghe An to buy the above amount of drugs to bring to Da Nang for consumption when they were arrested.
Currently, the Nghe An Provincial Border Guard is coordinating with Group 2 to complete the case file, initiate criminal proceedings, and hand over the case file and the suspect to the Da Nang City Police to continue investigating and handling according to the provisions of law.
