Eliminate drug retail point in hotel in Vinh city

Previously, through the work of grasping the situation, Hung Loc Commune Police discovered a drug retail point in the area led by Phan The Tien (born 1994), residing in Hamlet 4, Phuc Tho Commune, Nghi Loc District.

This subject colluded with Tran Manh Cuong (born in 1994), residing in Hai Nam block, Nghi Hai ward, Cua Lo town and Tran Van Tung (born in 1996), residing in hamlet 3, Phuc Tho commune, Nghi Loc district to buy drugs in other areas and then retail them to addicts inside and outside the area, in order to make illegal profits. The subjects all have criminal records for illegal drug trading and possession, operating with very sophisticated and cunning methods and tricks.

Taking advantage of the location of HT Hotel (Hung Loc Commune, Vinh City) located in a remote area, the group of subjects Tien, Cuong and Tung rented this hotel to organize drug sales to addicts in Vinh City and neighboring areas. To deceive the authorities, the group often changed the method, location and means of delivery, only selling to regular customers.

Faced with the above situation, by concentrating all forces and synchronously deploying professional measures, on March 24, 2024, Hung Loc Commune Police simultaneously and successfully arrested 3 subjects Phan The Tien, Tran Manh Cuong and Tran Van Tung for illegal drug trafficking, seizing 100 grams of crystal meth, 3 mobile phones, 1 electronic scale and many other related evidences.

Currently, Hung Loc Commune Police have handed over the subjects and evidence to Vinh City Police for handling according to authority.
