Eliminate complex drug ring in Vinh city

Previously, the anti-drug force (Vinh City Police) discovered an illegal drug trafficking ring led by Dang Danh Sy. This subject is very sophisticated, vigilant and has many tricks to deal with the authorities.

Sy had three previous convictions for drugs, and was often not directly involved in the illegal drug trade or negotiations. Every time Sy's close associates were arrested, Sy would hide from the area, lie low and listen, then return to his activities but with more sophisticated methods. Due to Sy's cunning, Vinh City Police spent a lot of time, manpower, and intelligence to verify, monitor, and understand the rules of operation, in order to catch Sy.

After a period of persistent monitoring, at about 20:30 on June 2, 2022, in the area of ​​Ben Thuy 2 Bridge, the Vinh City Police working group ambushed and caught Chu Van Phuc red-handed for illegally buying and selling drugs, seizing 1 heroin cake, 70 ecstasy pills and 20g of ketamine.

After arresting Phuc, another working group of Vinh City Police also controlled and executed an emergency detention order against Dang Danh Sy. During the search of the suspects' residence, an additional 150 grams of heroin and 30 ecstasy pills were seized.

At the Investigation Agency, with the collected evidence, the subject Dang Danh Sy admitted to selling all of the above drugs to Chu Van Phuc.

Along with the arrest of 2 subjects illegally trading in drugs, including "boss" Dang Danh Sy and the fight to arrest 15 subjects illegally trading and storing drugs before in Cua Nam ward, Vinh City Police force successfully eliminated a complex drug ring, and at the same time eliminated a complex drug den in block 13, Cua Nam ward, bringing peace to the area.
