(Baonghean.vn) - Currently in Thai Hoa town (Nghe An), there are more than 2 hectares of clean vegetables invested in organic cultivation. Initially, the model has brought high economic efficiency and stable output.

At the end of October 2017, the organic vegetable growing model was implemented by Ms. Tran Thanh Huyen's family in Dong Hung hamlet, Nghia My commune on an area of ​​1 hectare of land used for growing grass and corn with low efficiency.

Ms. Huyen has invested more than 100 million VND to improve the soil, seeds, fertilizers, irrigation systems, and greenhouses to grow lettuce, carrots, Malabar spinach, potatoes, onions, garlic, etc. At this time, her family is focusing on harvesting vegetables for sale.

“Applying this model has many advantages, such as not affecting the health of the direct growers, and giving high productivity and profits. All of the family’s products have been sold,” Ms. Huyen shared.

Therefore, in addition to the current 2 hectares, vegetable growers in Thai Hoa have also converted and increased the area of ​​organic vegetable cultivation.
