Today (December 24), People's CommitteeVinh cityhas issued document No. 8602/UBND GDĐT on preparations to welcome primary school students and secondary school students in grades 6, 7, and 8 back to school. School will start from December 27, 2021.
Accordingly, the decision to let students return to school is based on the fact that the epidemic situation in Vinh city is still basically under control, the rate of people vaccinated with enough doses is high, people are more aware of implementing 5K and epidemic prevention measures and Vinh city is classified as having an epidemic level of level 2.

To ensure the safety of students going to school, the City People's Committee has also directed the Department of Education and Training and the People's Committees of wards and communes to coordinate with schools to find solutions in prevention work.fight against Covid-19, carry out disinfection and sterilization spraying at schools. In addition, mobilize people not to sell food and drink to students in each area in front of school gates, strictly prohibit mobile vending in front of school gates.
On the school side, it is necessary to develop a plan to welcome students back to school, strictly implement teaching plans adapted to the pandemic; organize the signing of commitments with teachers, parents and students and ensure safety conditions.
