Bilateral patrol on the Vietnam - Laos border
(Baonghean.vn) - During 2 days (March 28 and 29), My Ly Border Post, Nghe An Border Guard coordinated with Border Guard Company 217, Military Command of Hua Phan Province (Laos) to organize bilateral patrols of the border section from border marker 385 to border marker 386.
The patrol force inspected, cleaned, cleared the area around the landmark system, and took photos for records.
Through inspection, the border system and national border markers are kept intact, not moved, destroyed or eroded, affecting the safety of the markers; political security, order and social safety are stable; people on both sides of the border strictly comply with the Agreement on border management regulations; there are no illegal border crossings, intrusions or border crossings.

The two sides also exchanged information related to security and borders; grasped and handled situations occurring on the border, creating favorable conditions for all activities of people on both sides of the border and in accordance with the law...
At the end of the patrol, the two sides drew on experience; discussed policies and solutions, agreed on time and number of troops for the next patrol, and signed a record of the results of the bilateral patrol.
