Thai Hoa Town meets retired officials on the occasion of the Lunar New Year

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of January 30, Thai Hoa City Party Committee held a meeting with retired officials on the occasion of welcoming the Spring of Quy Ty 2013.

Attending the event were comrade Le Ba Hung - Provincial Party Committee member, Secretary of the City Party Committee, comrades in the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee and 45 veteran revolutionaries, former leaders of the province, district, town, retired senior military and police officers in the area.

The Standing Committee of the Town Party Committee reported on the town's activities in recent times.

Comrade Le Ba Hung, on behalf of the Town's leaders, reported on the local performance in the past: The Town has overcome difficulties, synchronously deployed all aspects of work, effectively implemented key tasks, brought the economic growth rate to 14.5%, consolidated national defense and security, and improved the lives of all classes of people. In 2013, the Town continues to focus on Party building at the grassroots level, attracting investment, creating many jobs for workers, striving to complete economic and social targets, and building an increasingly civilized and modern urban appearance in the Northwest region.

On behalf of the Town's leaders, comrade Le Ba Hung wished the retired cadres a new year of health, peace and prosperity and hoped that in the coming time, the retired cadres would continue to care and contribute their intelligence to the development of the locality.
