In the 2016 high school graduation exam, 373 candidates from 26 examination councils of local examination clusters chaired by the Nghe An Department of Education and Training registered for the Physics exam. Of these, 3 examination councils had no candidates registering for the Physics exam (Que Phong High School, Quy Chau High School and Tuong Duong High School), 3 examination councils had 1 candidate registering for the Physics exam (1-5 High School, Cua Lo High School and Thai Hoa High School).
At the Thai Hoa High School Examination Council (Thai Hoa Town), the only candidate registered for the Physics exam was female student Le Thi Ni Na - former student of Class 12G, Tay Hieu High School. Before the exam, the "Supporting the 2016 Exam Season" volunteer youth team of Hoa Hieu Ward met, gave gifts and wished this candidate to complete the exam well.
Contestant Le Thi Ni Na herself seemed very happy to receive the encouragement. She said: “As the only contestant taking the Physics exam at the Thai Hoa High School Examination Council, I felt quite nervous, but I am very confident and determined to do well.”
