Thai Hoa Town organizes the first Cross Country Race

(Baonghean.vn) -This morning, March 6, Thai Hoa Town organized the first Cross Country Race in the 2013 Town Sports Festival program.

150 athletes from 8 communes, wards and 1 school participated and competed in the following categories: women (2 km), men (3.5 km). As a result, the Organizing Committee awarded 20 prizes for 2 categories; athlete Vo Van Duc (Hoa Hieu ward) and athlete Mai Thi Hoai won first prize in the men's and women's categories, respectively.

After this tournament, the Town's Culture - Sports Center will select the best faces for the town's cross-country team to prepare to participate in the Nghe An Province Cross-Country Tournament 2013.
